We are delighted to announce the latest two members to join the SWCRC Advisory Group. The group will provide the SWCRC with guidance, advice and influence the direction of the Centre.
Welcome to Richard Yorke, Director of Cyber Cheltenham (CyNam) and Anna Hannis, Inclusion and Diversity Specialist and Employer Engagement Manager for the Tech Talent Charter.
Mark Moore, Director of The Cyber Resilience Centre for the South West said: “I’m delighted to welcome Richard and Anna to our growing Advisory Group. With this group, we are seeking to represent the diversity and spread of the South West economy. Richard brings invaluable professional and geographic connections from a key part of the regional cyber economy, whilst Anna adds a crucial area of expertise, knowledge and challenge to what we do. I am very much looking forward to our discussions at next week’s inaugural advisory group meetings, at which we will seek to settle on our priorities for the months ahead.

Richard Yorke – Director, CyNam
Richard is one of the founding Directors of Cyber Cheltenham (CyNam), a Community Interest Company focused on the development and growth of the Cyber ecosystem in the Cheltenham and Gloucestershire region.
Richard’s career in the Cyber and National Security industry spans over 15 years, most recently as a business leader at CACI Ltd following their 2019 acquisition of Deep3 Software, a software engineering company which Richard co-founded in 2014 and led as Director and CEO.
Prior to founding Deep3, Richard held positions at the Cabinet Office’s e-Government Unit delivering pan-government services such as the Government Gateway after which he worked for Atos as a Programme Manager responsible for the delivery of mission-critical projects for customers in the National Security sector.
As a Cheltenham resident, where he lives with his wife and two children, Richard’s passion lies in supporting the development and growth of the thriving cyber community in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and the wider UK through collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange. He is a member of the Golden Valley Cyber Leadership Board (CLB) and currently chairs the UK Cyber Cluster Collaboration Group, where he leads an initiative to develop an Operating Framework and Governance model for UK Cyber Clusters.
On joining The Cyber Resilience for the South West’s Advisory Group, Richard said: "I'm delighted to be invited to join the South West CRC board, and excited about the opportunities for collaboration between the CRC, CyNam and the cyber community members we represent. We are blessed with a wealth of cyber security capability and innovation in the region which will play a key role in achieving the CRC's aim to protect organisations in the region against cyber-crime. By working together, we can provide greater cyber resilience whilst supporting innovation and ecosystem growth."
Anna Hannis, Inclusion and Diversity Specialist and Employer Engagement Manager for the Tech Talent Charter
Anna is in the leadership team at the Tech Talent Charter (TTC) in the capacity as Inclusion and Diversity Specialist and Employer Engagement Manager. The TTC is a non-profit organisation leading a movement to address inequality in the UK tech sector and drive greater inclusion and diversity – there are now over 530 TTC Signatories.
Anna is an experienced HR and Diversity & Inclusion professional with strong experience in global professional services, financial services sectors as well as start up environments in Australia and in the UK.
When asked why she wanted to join The Cyber Resilience for the South West’s Advisory Group, Anna said: “I’m looking forward to joining the South West Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) Advisory group and I hope my experience of working with organisations on their strategy to become more inclusive and diverse will add value to the SWCRC and the businesses it aims to support in the South West.
“As the cyber threats we face become more diverse, so too must the teams we put in place to defend against them.”
